Wow, so much has happened in the last week!
1st: Christopher had his First "Friend" party ever!
My big boy turned 5 last Friday the 13th!!
I am VERY PROUD of myself!! This the 1st Birthday cake that I have made that didn't end up in the garbage!! Yeah!!! Now you cake experts out there don't judge! I know it's sunken and not the smoothest but hey I'm just glad it was edible!!

The evening of Christopher's Birthday my Beloved Grandpa Johnson passed away suddenly. It was hard to keep it together the rest of the evening but I knew I had to be strong for my son. I didn't want his birthday to be anything but absolute JOY!
Grandpa passed away holding one of his grandchildren. In fact the picture reflects exactly how he passed away. His FAMILY was his LIFE and I mainly kept up my blog because I knew that he looked at it EVERY day. The funeral was beautiful and I will miss him dearly! Even at Christopher's young age he's understood what's happened and will miss him dearly! I'm so greatful that I am blessed to still have my Grandparents around and my children get to know their GREAT Grandparents!!
So the Funeral was Yesterday and Today we Celebrate AGAIN!!

A few sorries, 1st of all sorry for missing Christopher's party, my kids got terribly sick we really missed seeing you guys. Second, I am so sorry to hear about your grandpa, death is never fun even when someone is old and they are ready to pass on. last of all, happy birthday sweet Kenna!! She is so beautiful and I am hoping that we believe in arranged marriages if you know what I mean.
Wow! You guys have been busy.. Makenna is darling.. Brooklyn really didnt want much to do with her cake but Kenna looks like she had fun! So cute!
You did such a good job on Chris's cake. It turned out so cute! What did you end up doing for Kenna's? She looks all cute with cake all over her face though!
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandpa. So sad. Also can you belive how big your kids are getting? You need to bring them over for a play day, Sam and Wyatt would love that! Seriously, do you have an sfternoon next week that would work?

I love Christopher's cake! Way to go! And Makenna's 1! Wow! All these birthdays right by each other! With Billy's this week... Pary all the time:) lol. What a great mom!
That's so sad about your grandpa. What a cute cake though. Good job, I think it looks awesome. Way better than anyone else could do, because nobody loves the person it's for more. Mommy's who make the cakes put love in the frosting:-)
