It's Springtime and the brides emerge!!

Billy really is amazing!  Our photography business...Clique Photography...has really taken off! And we're so excited about not only how much this has blessed our lives but how FUN it is to work together.  It's created a new bond between us.  My wedding planning is going great too!  So I guess you could say that we're addicted to weddings!  LOL  The two businesses work great together & we both get to share our talents with others!  Needless to say now that wedding season is here, we're busy busy busy!  I just hope it keeps this pace through the rest of the season.

We've done all sorts of shoots but I think Billy's found his nac in weddings!

So Much and So Little Time to post!!

Wow, so much has happened in the last week!
1st:  Christopher had his First "Friend" party ever!
My big boy turned 5 last Friday the 13th!!

I am VERY PROUD of myself!!  This the 1st Birthday cake that I have made that didn't end up in the garbage!!  Yeah!!!  Now you cake experts out there don't judge!  I know it's sunken and not the smoothest but hey I'm just glad it was edible!!

Christopher and his BFF, Ryker!
These boys will be friends for life.
Yes, they are cousins they look just like each other.

Blow those Candles OUT!!!

You'd never guess that Christopher LOVES Thomas & His Friends!
I swear that kid has enough trains to supply the entire neighborhood!

The is the greatest picture to end his party with!!
This boy LOVES his daddy so much it makes my heart melt!!

The evening of Christopher's Birthday my Beloved Grandpa Johnson passed away suddenly.  It was hard to keep it together the rest of the evening but I knew I had to be strong for my son.  I didn't want his birthday to be anything but absolute JOY!

Grandpa passed away holding one of his grandchildren.  In fact the picture reflects exactly how he passed away.  His FAMILY was his LIFE and I mainly kept up my blog because I knew that he looked at it EVERY day.  The funeral was beautiful and I will miss him dearly!  Even at Christopher's young age he's understood what's happened and will miss him dearly!  I'm so greatful that I am blessed to still have my Grandparents around and my children get to know their GREAT Grandparents!!

So the Funeral was Yesterday and Today we Celebrate AGAIN!!

A Very Eventful Day - I LOVE These Posts!

What a day to bring on Friday! Our Thursday was jam packed with laughs and adventure. It's these days that I just love being a mom and a wife.

For starters, Christopher is getting so big! I can't believe he's almost 5. And I really have to watch his independence. Chris overheard me talking to Billy on the phone and billy had asked that I make him something for dinner (he was on his way home from work and I was going out with girls in the ward). Right when I got off the phone my mom called and we started talking weddings. Of course being deep in this discussion I wasn't paying much attention as to what was going on around me. When I looked up Christopher had gotten several things from the fridge and the cupboards and was in the middle of grating cheese. He was grating this cheese onto a piece of bread. I asked him what he was doing and he said ever so PROUDLY "I'm making Daddy dinner!" So I assisted him in grating the cheese then let him continue what he was doing. Next went the carrots (whole baby carrots) then the top piece of bread. He put all this on a plate on put it in the microwave. I was so proud at this moment, knowing that if Billy didn't put his whole heart and excitement into eating this sandwich that Christopher would be absolutely crushed! I did call Billy and give him warning though. As soon as Billy walked in the door Christopher so proudly presented his creation to his dad and watch with much enthusiasm as Billy took a big bite and Mmmmm and Yummmmed over it. To make it even better he asked his Daddy if he liked and if he was going to eat the whole thing! Billy is such a good sport!!

I proceeded out with the girls and had a great time! Rumbi grill really is very YUMMY!! The night had just begun!

When I came home Mason showed me his new discovery of putting bowls on his chest and saying "Look mom I have {boots}"! That kid is gonna kill me!! LOL

Billy took of just after putting Kenna to bed for a good 'ol game of "Church Ball" Within 20 minutes he walked back through the door with his hand over his eye. Needless to say up we headed to the ER for 19 STITCHES!!! Man, he got it good!! That thing was split wide open. Of course I was laughing and having a good time as he sits there and suffers. I really am getting a strong stomach from being a mom. I got some very grumsome pics, but for the weak in stomach I'll try not to post the worst of them. Ok, nevermind...their awesome I have to post them! So if you have a weak stomach, SCROLL FAST!!! ( I will post the "after" pic first )
